My profession is something in which I take so much pride. I love working with children and am so grateful for the opportunity to meet and care for so many! I love hearing their little laughs and seeing their joy in life’s simple things; it really shows us adults how to be more present in our own lives.
I pour my whole heart into treating patients like my own children and am always striving to provide the highest level of attentive care and compassion to their whole family. Each patient has unique needs, and every parent has different expectations, so I dedicate time to listening and learning how best to meet the child’s and parent’s concerns.
It is deeply rewarding to spend my days with wonderfully dynamic and always changing young people. I love watching our patients grow and hearing about their lives: I enjoy celebrating their milestones, watching their evolution, and being a part of their journey.
As a pediatric dentist, I hope to provide not only dental care, but a comfortable and trustworthy place where each child feels like they are home!
Prior to practicing pediatric dentistry, I attended Washington & Jefferson College, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Next came dental school, and my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) with honors, at Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. My Pediatric Dental Residency was completed at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, which is associated with Drexel University’s School of Medicine.
My residency provided specialized training in the clinical, developmental, and emotional concerns of infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special and complex healthcare needs.
That said, pediatric dentistry, like all areas of healthcare, is constantly changing. I stay current on the newest innovations in technologies and techniques, as well as trends and emerging research, through continuing education. My patients deserve the best treatment experience and constant learning ensures I am providing it.
Beyond the Office
My family – husband Mike, daughter Vivienne, and our two dogs, Murphy and Moose – is the light of my life and my whole heart! Being with them, whether we’re off on an adventure or relaxing at home, is always my priority.
I also enjoy running and cycling, traveling, learning about history and visiting museums, and trying new restaurants, foods, and wine. I’m an avid home cook and baker, too!
